Fertility Preservation for Cancer Patients

fertility preservation for cancer patients

48 Hour Response Time

Cancer treatment such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy can impair fertility in both men and women. Unfortunately, in women cancer treatment can significantly damage ovarian function and decrease total motile sperm count in men. This is why it is critical for patients with a cancer diagnosis to schedule an appointment with a fertility specialist prior to undergoing treatment. Fertility preservation (freezing sperm and/or eggs) gives patients the ability to plan a family in the future after remission.

Cancer patients will be seen within 24-48 hours after contacting our office.
